Jindal India Institute (JII) is dedicated to advancing India’s global influence through proactive policy advocacy and international engagement. By advocating for progressive policies across diverse spheres, JII aims to propel the Indian Century forward and amplify the India Story on the global stage. Through public events, policy dialogues, and multimedia dissemination, JII seeks to deepen understanding of India’s contributions to global good, highlighting achievements in democracy, spiritual heritage, innovation, healthcare, traditional knowledge, countering extremism, and environmental sustainability. These efforts are aimed at popularising the India model worldwide.

JII hosts a premier thought leadership series titled Capital Talks, a curated collection of enlightening discussions led by distinguished personalities across diverse fields such as policy, politics, academia, diplomacy, and more. The audience includes influential personalities such as senior diplomats, journalists, strategic thinkers, bureaucrats, and select students. This series aims to empower and strengthen the minds and spirits of India’s citizenry, while also informing and engaging these influential personalities about India’s achievements and potential. Through these discussions, JII also actively advocates for policies that contribute to India’s rise in the world.

  • Advocate for policies in social, economic, political, scientific and international spheres that will advance the Indian Century and promote the India Story globally
  • Internationalise and promote the Indian Century concept through regular joint public events in key countries and regions around the world that will be co-hosted by likeminded foreign partner institutions
  • Disseminate written briefs and videos on how India has played a role in countering religious fundamentalism, violent extremism and terrorism through promotion of moderate alternatives
  • Organise policy dialogues and round tables involving Indian and foreign government officials, military personnel, businesspersons, policy makers and opinion makers (media and scholars) on topics that highlight India’s achievements and contributions to global good
  • Organise periodic online and in-person lectures, seminars and conferences of topical relevance to the Indian Century— such as India’s vibrant democracy, India’s timeless spiritual heritage, India’s frugal innovation, India’s digital public goods, India’s low-cost healthcare solutions, Indian traditional knowledge systems and Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE)— in partnership with universities and think-tanks abroad so that the India model becomes popularised worldwide
